Pin soldered onto lever43 viewsI reckoned that relying on glue to take the sheer force of the weight transfer from the brass prongs to the styrene levers would be asking for trouble. So I drilled 0.6mm holes and soldered in 10mm of brass wire, which passes through a hole in the plastic lever and is superglued on the other side. It's a kind of micro-bolt.
The ends were later decorated to look like bolt heads / nuts.
